We need the BIA to take fishing seriously.
If the BIA don’t treat fishing seriously, Travis, run your own weekend, a good old-fashioned fishing show.
Get Mr.Andrews to open it.
You will see the pic with the stack of rods. I think it was after the Tsunami.
The rods and reels were sent to Sri Lanka and Malaysia and were vital to getting the economy back, apart from allowing people to catch their own fish.
How do we do this folks?
C’mon let’s get the thinking cap on.
We all have gear that just sits around.
I’m not suggesting you give it away.
How can we turn rods and reels and boxes into money and you people then spend it on new gear?
You spend the dough at the tackle shop, or wherever.
Your gear is then sold to less fortunate people at a price and the surplus is used to get thousands of rods and reels through Travis and give to schools, scouts, etc.
So, can we have a ripping discussion and come up with some ideas.
I will guarantee some people in very high places will be reading this.
Let’s show them that the target 1 Million is and was a total pie in the sky.
I say give that the flick and get kids into fishing, that’s the way.
As John Kennendy would say…..
Dont think, don’t hope…..dooooo something.
Thanks for reading this. YYRH
