I'm very emotional about this costume, so get ready for a ton of Vanessa spam in the coming weeks.
I have to give some serious credit where credit is due, here, to the people who gave me their time and expertise, and without whom this costume never would have happened. Endless thank yous to my coworkers @theredribbon and @gilly_kins , who stayed with me while I struggled with the boot cuffs and glove patterning. @wowsuchinstagram , who ripped the Perdition's Blade model from the game and turned it into a STL file for me, and @jordan.em.duncan , who printed them out. @quicksparrows , who taught me how to cast gems and made my tabard stencils, and @seanshikatani12 , who airbrushed my leather pieces when I was too afraid of my inexperience to attempt it myself. @shellshocked_cosplay and @faelablanche , who kept me on track and talked me down when my own doubt got the better of me. @trickylovephotography , who helped me with the final hand-sewing touches in my Blizzcon hotel room. @kamerapeople , who braved the cold with me to shoot it on location in sub-zero weather, and @alexsaurusink who lent me his incredible selection of props. But the biggest portion of my love and gratitude has to go to @alexrendesigns , who taught me to use apoxie sculpt and an airbrush, who assisted the photoshoot, and who stepped in to make Vanessa's pauldrons for me when it became clear that I had bitten off more than I could chew. I couldn't have done it without you all, and I'm so much more thankful than I can ever express in writing. Thank you for helping my dream come true. 😭
