Today it would have been Francine's 31st birthday.

Francine Meegan was born in December 8, 1989. In Las Vegas, Nevada. To James and Lillian Meegan.

Francine's arrival wasn't expected by her parents, and sadly they didn't want to take care of Francine. The couple was friends with another couple that offered to take Francine and help them out financially, this couple had 3 boys and they wanted a girl really badly. They gave them 1,000$, bought them a new car and they offered to pay most of the housing debts.
1 year later, on September 10, 1990, Francine's parents noticed that the steadiness they had from the money they were given by the couple had stopped, so they went to the couple's house and made threats against their boys whilst demanding to have Francine back. They gave Francine back to them and they left.
One day, Francine's father was off work and Francine was on her playpen and she started to cry. He reached for the playpen, grabbed Francine by the neck and shook Francine so hard that she was gasping for air and went unresponsive. He took her to the bedroom and Francine's mother tried to do CPR on her but she didn't respond. Francine's older sister saw her sister on the bed, unresponsive and her parents made up excuses as to why she was like that.
Later that day, the couple put Francine's body in a suitcase and put it on the trunk of the car. They drove to Arizona to a relative's house and left their other kids there. The couple then drove to the dessert and got the body off the suitcase, her father then poured gasoline on her and lit a match, making Francine's body burn.
Francine would remain unidentified for 6 years after a father and his son found her body.
One of Francine's aunts was the one that said what had happened to Francine, he told her then boyfriend that was a social worker what had happened.
Police reached out to Francine's parents and they denied the fact that they had a daughter named Francine, however, a birth certificate said otherwise. Francine's mother made up a story about how Francine had been kidnapped and how they didn't trust police, and that had been the reason they never reported it.

On October 9th, 1990, a ranch owner and his son were inspecting their vast property when they found the unimaginable.

In the middle of their Arizona ranch, were the charred remains of a one year old baby girl. What heartless monster could murder and burn an innocent child? Francine Lori Toni Meegan was 9 months old when she was murdered.

Francine was born on December 8, 1989 to her parents; Lillian and James Meegan in Las Vegas, Nevada. On September 10, 1990, Francine was crying. James became frustrated by the noise and grabbed Francine by the neck and shook her. She stopped crying and was now gasping for air. Once Francine did wake up, they left her on the bed in the bedroom by herself for hours. Francine suffered for hours and eventually died that evening. The next morning when James and Lillian realized Francine was unconscious, James put her body into a suitcase and then placed it in the trunk of the car. They drove to a deserted area and took Francine's body out of the trunk. James set her down on the ground and poured gasoline over her body. Lillian turned away not wanting to watch. James then lit a match and threw it on Francine's body. On October 9, 1999, a baby’s charred body was found by a rancher with its arms stiff, reaching up into the air. The clothing on the child had mostly not burnt. The rancher at first thought that he had found a baby doll but when he poked it, black fluid poured out. The baby’s identity was unknown for six years until 1997 when Francine’s older sister told investigators something interesting. She told them that in September 1990, her sister, Francine, vanished from her home and that her parents were acting very suspicious and strange about it. Once investigators questioned James and Lillian, they denied ever having a child called Francine, however, a birth certificate for her was found with them listed as the parents. Soon, they both admitted to what they had done to their baby. James was sentenced to life in prison without parole. Lillian was sentenced to 18 years in prison. Francine was buried next to another child who had been found buried in the same desert in July 1960. That child was buried with the name "God's Little Child" as she was never identified.

One of the saddest stories
RIP Francine Meegan ❤️ (aka Danielle Jensen)

In 1990 Francines biological parents made a deal with their then friends. Raise & care their soon to be daughter as their own- in exchange for financial assistance.

Baby Francine was then names Danielle Jensen.

James and Lilian Meehan (biological parents) months later would ask for more money. When their attempts were unsuccessful they asked for baby Danielle back.

Once they were denied the infant back James made threats to hurt their friends children.

The Jensen family decided should hand back their 9 month old daughter to her biological parents, to solve all issues.

Baby Meehans remains were found burnt. She went unidentified for 6 years.

Lillian claims her husband came home with an almost lifeless baby. When Lilian asked what happened while trying to preform CPR, James states that Francine had gotten into some of his pills.

There are conclusions he had shaken her to stop her from crying.

The couple then drove to dispose of her body. Lilian says she didn’t watch her husband light the infant on fire, she asked to just get in the car & leave.

From Arizona United Stares. Her parents did not want a child. A couple that were friends of the Meegan couple agreed to take the baby. Valerie and Dennis Jenson had three boys and wanted a baby girl. Money was demanded so much that it was $30,000. On September 10, 1990 the Meegans were in rage of the Jensons steady income they made threats of taking Francine back with them until they were demanded to give her back to the Meegans. Her father drove with Francine in the trunk. He drove to a deserted area. He poured gasoline over her body. Two men approached the body first thinking it was a doll, but found out it was a baby. The clothes on the baby's body was still visible. One of the men touched the skin which caused some fluid to leak out. They contacted the police.
