Imagine being a single mother of three. Doing everything in your power to raise your children to make a difference in the world 🌎.
Despite the pain and hardships experienced our moral compass never strayed but so far.
Over the past three years Liyalani worked several places such as McDonald's, Wendy's, AMC, Branchbrook Skating Rink, Capital One, etc. She volunteered at the Shani Baracka center, worked closely with her Principal and school staff with multiple programs through West Side High. She has a great work ethic, a prolific writer, has an amazing heart and was set out to attend Hampton University August 20th, 2020 for the fall semester.
All of that took a dramatic turn when a jealous woman made a selfish decision that changed Liyalani's way of life. I want #Justice for my daughter because she absolutely did not deserve this. Please understand that if it can happen to my loved one it can easily happen to yours. Especially if we stand idley by and do nothing to make
differences and enforce change in #NewarkNJ.
Moving forward there will be a walk organized to bring awareness to the violence we're plagued with in this city. And I pray that other solutions can be brought to life so that our children can learn to become better individuals and not lack self confidence. We need some serious preventative measures and youth programs set in place. *LINK IN THE BIO
